RECOMMENDED PAINT PROTECTION FILM CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• To extend the life and looks of your STEK DYNOshield PPF and to maintain your warranty coverage, please DO NOT wash your vehicle for a minimum of 5-days after picking up the vehicle. If the average daily temperature falls below 55° Fahrenheit, do not wash your vehicle for a minimum of 7 days.

• During this 5-7 day curing period, avoid driving the vehicle in wet conditions and store the car in a dry area, preferably in an enclosed garage.

• Following this curing period, frequent washing and waxing are recommended. Hand washing with a mild car washing detergent & water is preferred. Wax once or twice a year with a non-abrasive liquid spray wax for added protection and to maintain gloss. To prevent lifting of the film, avoid automatic car washes or directly spraying film with a pressure washer.

RECOMMENDED CARE PRODUCTS

At SC Vinyl, we use only the best care products available in order to provide a clean, professionally finished product to our customers.  Here is a list of products we use:

When hand washing your car, we recommend using a mild shampoo like Meguiar's® Gold Class car wash.

​

For a fast wipe down or mild protectant, we recommend a Meguiar's® Quik Detailer or Quik Wax.

​

For long-term protection, we recommend CarPro Reload or a Ceramic Coating.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM WARRANTY

STEK DYNOshield PPF is covered by a 10-year Limited Manufacturer Warranty.  This warranty covers any film defects that cause cracking, bubbling or yellowing of the film.  SC Vinyl will cover any installation errors, such as lifted edges or air pockets that may have been missed during installation for up to 1 year from the date of purchase.
